What type of battery is required for the WP1D display unit?
Answer
For the WP1D display unit, a CR2477 battery is required. In fact any 3V source will work that connects with the right polarity to the contacts, but the CR2477 fits best into the battery compartment. The initial delivery includes a Panasonic CR2477, the height of the battery is 7,65mm.
In order to change the battery:
- Axially pull out the battery compartment
- Insert the new battery, mind the polarity (- up towards display, + down)
- Completely insert the battery compartment with care not to bend the contacts
Please mind: The contacts can easily be bent. If they are not in the right position to contact the battery and the right polarity, the unit will not work. Below is a picture of the correct contact positions.
