Question:
What is the warm-up period for the deformable insert used with the QUASAR MRI 4D motion phantom?
Answer:
1. Start with 5 breaths per second and an amplitude of 5 mm. Do this for the first 20 seconds. (Noise is normal but there should not been screeching.)
2. Move to 10 breaths per minute and an amplitude of 10 mm, allow this to run for 60 seconds.
3. After completing the warm-up mode, the required amplitude and breaths per second can be set by the user.
*This is done in the software, via the sinusoidal option.
