Answer
It is recommended to position the myQA CCU-X at least 2m away from the beam (water phantom position) to avoid an impact of the radiation on the electronics. The improved sensors and electronics allow a shorter distance that the CCU.
The standard drive control cable has a length of 5m to allow sufficient length for positioning the myQA CCU-X safely.
