The GRID3D Advantage software supports locating its internal control points in a variety of similar but slightly different ‘stereotactic’ image spaces.
- The stereotactic space provided directly by an export from the GammaPlan software (LGP file)
- A co-registered stereotactic space
- A stereotactic space determined by the Leksell fiducial box
- The ‘stereotactic’ space determined by the GRID3D Advantage software detecting the Leksell fiducial box
- The ‘stereotactic’ space determined by aligning the central control point of the grid with the 100x100x100 point.
The phantom should be able to reproducibly locate within the same Vantage frame.
Note: The GRID3D Advantage software does have a ‘systemic offset’ feature if a user feels like they always have a known physical shift of the phantom within the stereotactic image space. The ‘systemic offset’ feature can be used to correct for a known physical shift.
Here's a video that goes through the features of the older GRID3D phantom software which was only compatible with the G-Frame: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ujq5RmieSF4
Please note, the newer GRID3D Advantage software has all the features listed in that video along with additional improvements.
