Questions:
How to fill the calibration request correctly?
Answer:
In order to fill the calibration request correctly, please follow below guide:
Step 1
Select the correct calibration request for your needs. Here are 4 different calibration requests form we have:
- Calibration Request for Measuring Systems in terms of ND,w / NK(Co-60 beam), it is mainly for radiotherapy detectors
- Calibration Request for Measuring Systems in terms of ND,w / NK / NKLP / NKAP (kilovoltage x-ray beams), it is mainly for diagnostic detectors
- Calibration Request for Electrometer in terms of DC current, for electrometer
- Calibration Request for Measuring Systems in terms of ND,w (high energy x-ray and electron beams), for detectors that are needed to calibrate under high energy X-ray and electron beams, there is only SSDL calibration for this request.
Step 2
Input your General information and Official authorization in Part 1 General Information and Part 2 Official authorization.
If there's any comment or special request, please indicate in Comments.
By default, there is not calibration interval on a calibration certificate, if you want to have it, please check below checkbox:
Step 3
Put your electrometer information
We will perform precalibration functionality test on electrometers indicates here.
Step 4
Input desired calibration conditions and requirements.
- For chambers calibration
Input chamber information and the calibration conditions one by one.
Select the calibration service (Air kerma, Dose to water, Kerma Length product, Kerma area Product) you need for each chamber.
We will also perform precalibration functionality test on all ion chambers you input here. The calibration will be carried out exactly as you requested here.
- For electrometers calibration
Please select a calibration type.
On Basic calibration, we calibrate 2 points for dose1 (± 1 nA in the “0 – 10nA” range), and 8 points for dose2 (± 100 pA in the “Low” range and ± 1 nA in the “High” range for each channel). If you want to calibrate other points, please select Standard Calibration or Custom Calibration.
On linearity check, if you would like to specify the range, please input the Lowest/Highest value and select current polarity. If you leave this empty, we will calibrate the full range.
Here we provide 4 linearity calibrations, 3 factories defined and an IEC defined, each contains a different amount of calibration points, here is a simple example to help you understand what calibration points are included in each factory defined linearity calibrations.
Eg. electrometer range is 0 to +/-1nA
calibration points | |
Linearity check calibration 1 | +/-1pA, +/-10pA, +/-100pA, +/-1nA |
Linearity check calibration 2 |
+/-1pA, +/-10pA, +/-100pA, +/-1nA +/-5pA, +/-50pA, +/-500pA |
Linearity check calibration 3 |
+/-1pA, +/-10pA, +/-100pA, +/-1nA +/-5pA, +/-50pA, +/-500pA +/-2pA, +/-20pA, +/-200pA |
Step 5
Input the authorization and sign.
Tips:
If you have several chambers and an electrometer for calibration, it is suggested to calibrate chambers and electrometer separately, instead of calibrating all chambers with electrometer.
