How do I start/restart the SQL database?
When a database connection error message appears in myQA or Compass, a possible cause is the SQL database stopped working. A typical error message is like below:
In order to start/restart the database, please follow the steps below:
In the Windows Start Menu, find and run SQL Server Configuration Manager.
Click the SQL Server Services on the left, and check if your compass/myQA SQL Server is running.
If it is not running, right-click and click Start, if it is running, please right-click and click Restart.
Run Compass/myQA again to see if the problem is solved.
