IMPORTANT NOTE:
05.06.2024
We are pleased to announce the release of firmware version V2023.10.1, which addresses a minor technical issue found in the previous version, V2023.10.0. Some users experienced an incomplete update process with V2023.10.0, resulting in devices remaining operational with the firmware version prior to V2023.10.0.
With the release of V2023.10.1, this issue has been resolved. We recommend updating to this latest version to ensure optimal performance and the latest enhancements.
In all download packages called 2023.10.0 the firmware was replaced by the new version 2023.10.1. The checksums were updated so that the integrity and completeness can be verified as described below.
Question
How to verify the integrity of the myQA Daily software 1.3 and firmware 2023.10.0 upgrade zip-files with a checksum?
Answer
Please mind:
The myQA Daily software version 1.3 requires new reference measurements for the electron constancy checks, as the algorithms were updated.
For the myQA Daily software and firmware zip files that are sent to eligible customers via download, we provide a checksum (SHA-256) to verify the integrity of the download package. If the checksum is calculated after the download and compared to the value we publish for this file, it is certain that the installer package is intact, complete and no manipulation happened to the files during upload, storing on a sharepoint folder or during the download.
There are different tools available for calculating checksums with Windows (e.g. 7zip), the results should be the same, no matter what tool is used.
Once the myQA Daily software 1.3 and firmware 2023.10.0 upgrade zip-files are fully downloaded, the SHA-256 checksum can be calculated and compared to the following value before unpacking of the zip-files:
- myQA Daily Firmware V2023.10.0.zip, SHA-256: 619c656fd4b6b822382c3c732c8912e346cce38ec469181605d0ec9056cb8c77
- myQA Daily SW 1.3.zip, SHA-256: fde386a56a5b3066bb49a3398400ca88398f8473e28e360b927556373109fb26
If there is no match between these values and the checksum you are getting from the downloaded zip file, please contact the IBA Dosimetry Service team, to notify us about the mismatch and to receive a new upgrade file.
