If this is a new installation you must configure your system before any measurements. It strongly is recommended to set up the system carefully.
Starting up a Measurement Project
Using the Links in the Start Page
The Start page provides the links to different projects or data. By clicking the link, the corresponding window will open.
Start New Measurement
- Clicking Start New Measurements, the software switches to the Queue Setup, the same as clicking the Queue Setup button in the Navigation Area.
Continue Incomplete Measurement
- Clicking Continue Incomplete Measurement will continue a previously started, but not yet completed Measurement queue. The software switches to the Measurement view, the same as clicking onto the Measurement button in the Navigation Area.
Open Stored Data
- Clicking Open Stored Data; the Open browser containing stored data opens.
- Select the desired file and click the Open button.
Recently Used Data
- By clicking a used data file in the list, it will be opened in the Data view.
- By placing the mouse on the listed data, the path where the data is stored will be displayed.
Using the Links in the Start Page

File Explorer
File Explorer… provides a fast, convenient way to select a group of scans according to your choice of parameters from one or more files and import or save as a project.
Click File – File Explorer… to open the File Explorer. The window contains three groups from left to right. It is also the order to select files. The procedure is described in the bottom area of the window. The steps are active only when the previous steps are executed.
File Selection
- Click Browse and select the folder where the file is located.
- Checkmark the file checkboxes and click Select. Now the Filters group is activated.
Filters
The parameters used in the settings of the selected file(s) are used for selection (filtering), and they are listed in the Parameter dropdown list. By default, 4 basic parameters (Scan type, Radiation type, Energy, and Radiation device) are displayed in the window. You can add, delete, and repeat parameters. The parameters are defined under Values.
Add a parameter:
- Click New.
- Click anywhere on the added empty line, and then click Edit.

A dropdown box appears under Parameter. Click the downward arrow to display the parameter list. Select the desired parameter.
While in edit mode, you can select a specific Value for each Parameter.
Edit a parameter:
- Click to select a parameter, and then click the Edit button. You can change the name of the parameter and the parameter value from the dropdown lists.
Delete a Parameter:
- Click to select a parameter, and then click the Delete button.
Preview
After selecting the desired filters, click the Preview button. The Preview group is activated, and the selected scans will be displayed graphically. Now you can save the selected scans as a project by pressing the Save as Project button, or import to the current myQA Accept window by pressing the Import button or go back to select different scans by pressing the Cancel button.
For Absolute Point measurements, the graphical preview is not available. However, the Import and Save as Project buttons are still functional.
Export to myQA
Export to myQA… enables the user to export measured profiles to myQA. Handling of Filters is quite similar to File Explorer.
This dialog shows all export relating profiles of the current project from Accept Main Window in graphical view.
The myQA Data Export dialog enables the user to set filters for all export relating profiles.
The Filters group shows default parameters, Scan Type, Radiation Type, Energy, and Radiation Device.
If project contains measurements with more than one value of a certain parameter, the relating values get the additional entry “All”.
Selected Parameters will be displayed in the Data view on the right side of the window. Use the New, Edit, and Delete buttons to edit, add, or delete filters. Changes will be automatically reflected in the Data view.
For a newly defined Parameter the list of values will be shown relating to the Parameters of the contained profiles.
Be aware that the combination of multiple filters can lead to no result.
The myQA Data Export dialog shows a path where to export data. By pressing the button the user can define where to put the exported data.
Pressing the button , the filtered data will be exported to the selected path.
A subdirectory will be created, it will get name “AcceptExport” followed by year, month and day. This directory will contain the files, one for each filtered profile.
Each datafile contains Radiation Device, Radiation Type, Energy, Fieldsize and creation date in its filename followed by extension “opax”.
