myQA Accept Monaco and RayStation RTPS conversion to ASCII format shows incorrect axis alignment.
Answer
We have identified an issue with the conversion of diagonal scans for rectangular (i.e., asymmetric) fields in the RTPS interfaces for RayStation and Monaco. When a converted and exported file is reopened in myQA Accept, the axis alignment is incorrect.
This issue affects versions ranging from 2019-002 (8.4.9.2), dated 2019-11-14, to the current version. Please note, symmetric fields are unaffected.
To avoid this error, it is advised to save files manually instead of using the conversion and export feature.
Manual save procedure:
Click File > Save As…
In the Save As dialog, select the save location, enter the file name, and select *.asc as the file type.
Click Save to confirm.
