On Windows 10 build 1803 and on, the Windows APIs functions have been changed such that you might get the error “KEY ERROR 19” when running XLPRO V4. If you are using Windows 10 but do not get the error now, you might still get the error in the future when Windows does an automatic update. To fix the problem, the Sentinel Pro software needs to be updated. Note that this only applies to Windows 10.
You can use the link below to access the updated Sentinel Pro driver for Windows 10. After updating the driver, download the updated Sentinel Pro DLL and install it in the folder indicated below.
Instructions:
- Download and install the current Sentinel Pro security key driver.
- Then download the SX32w.dll:
- To install the DLL, replace the previous copy in the Windows/SysWow64 directory
- Connect hardware and check for connectivity.
