  1. Network Setup:

    • If you want to connect the myQA Daily device to the hospital's wired network, it will need a static IP address.

    • If you connect it to the wireless network, it will receive an IP address through DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol).

  2. IP Address Assignment:

    • The device and the server must be on the same network, but the IP addresses must be unique. Do not assign the same IP address (e.g., 192.0.0.24) to both the PC and the myQA Daily device.

    • Example IP assignment for the hospital network (192.0.0.X):

      • myQA Daily Server: 192.0.0.26

      • myQA Daily Device: 192.0.0.XX (e.g., 192.0.0.27)

      • Client PCs: 192.0.0.XX (e.g., 192.0.0.28)

  3. Device Configuration:

    • Connect the myQA Daily device to the network using an Ethernet cable.

    • Verify connectivity by using the ping command from the server or client PC.

    • Manually configure the device's name, serial number, IP address, and port within the myQA software.

    • Open a web browser on the client PC.
