Question
How can I verify the integrity of the myQA Accept 9.2 upgrade zip file with a SHA checksum?
Answer
For the myQA Accept 9.2 upgrade zip file that are sent to eligible customers via download, we provide the SHA-256 checksum to verify the integrity of the upgrade package. If the checksum is calculated after the download and compared to the value we publish for this version here below, it is certain that the installer package is intact, complete and no manipulation happened to the files during upload, storing on a sharepoint folder or during the download.
There are different tools available for calculating checksums with Windows (e.g. 7zip), the results should be the same, no matter what tool is used. You can also use a build-in Windows tool to generate the SHA-256 checksum:
How can I use the Windows build-in SHA-256 checksum calculator via command line prompt?
Once the myQA Accept 9.2 upgrade installer is fully downloaded, it is a zip file called "myQA Accept 9_2 (Release CCU-X)_Upgrade", the SHA-256 checksum can be calculated and compared to the following value:
SHA-256: 74575a6ddc06d057f8eb64e6ea3b06502776c6620137909eee911da6a86afbf6
If there is no match between these values and the checksums you are getting from the downloaded zip file, please contact the IBA Dosimetry Service team, to notify us about the mismatch and to receive a new upgrade file.
