What needs to be done to get the myQA SRS and Gantry Sensor+ (GS+) ready to be used with CyberKnife?
Answer
When you have purchased your devices after the release of myQA 2025-001 nothing needs to be done. Firmware update and calibration are already done for you.
Two steps are necessary for devices purchased before the release of myQA 2025-001:
1. Update the firmware of the Bluetooth module inside the myQA SRS device.
2. Calibration of the GS+ for three dimensions (x, y and z).
Firmware Update
This step can be performed by every user or by IBA Dosimetry.
Step 1
Change to folder C:\Program Files (x86)\IBA Dosimetry\myQA SRS Service\BluetoothFirmwareUpdate.
Step 2
Run IBADos.Core.UMS.SBRT.BluetoothFirmwareUpdate.exe with Windows admin rights. This window needs to stay open during the following steps:

Open GantrySensorPlusApplicationExtensionForBluetooth.exe in folder GantrySensorPlusApplicationExtensionForBluetooth in the installation package with Windows admin rights.
Step 4
Click the button Select Firmware File and choose the newest available firmware file:
With myQA 2025-001 you will find there version iba-gas-interface-V1.3-20250114-085911.ibapkg in the installation package. Find it also here attached.
Step 5
The update will begin automatically:
If the upload of the firmware takes longer than 30 seconds, shut down the myQA SRS device and start again with Step 1.
Step 6
Once the update is finished, click the Finish button:

Switch the myQA SRS device off, wait for one minute and switch it on again.
Step 8
Check if the service for myQA SRS is running:

In the log file, the correct version can be verified. Go to C:\ProgramData\IBA Dosimetry\SBRTAdapter\logs and open IBADos.Core.UMS.SBRT.Server.log:
Calibration
This step needs to be done at IBA Dosimetry.
