The following results maps are available:
- Original dose map
- Monte Carlo dose map
- Difference dose map
- 3D Gamma comparison
The SW also displays the numerical results of the 3D gamma analysis performed using the settings defined in Section 3.2.3.4. The gamma analysis is a 3D gamma analysis as described in the same section. It does not require resampling as the two dose maps have the same resolution[6]. It is performed on the agglomeration of the voxels contained in each of the structure defined in the settings for the analysis.
The status of the independent dose individual report depends on the status of the gamma analysis. If the gamma analysis is passed, the status of the report will be an OK icon. If the test is failed, the status will be a warning icon. If either MC simulations or the gamma analysis fails to produce results, the status will be an error icon.
Navigating dose maps
Click on a figure to change the Plane Orientation (1) of the dose map.
View the current patient orientation with the Patient Orientation Indicator (2)
On the Difference dose map, click on the colorscale icon (3) to open the Colorscale range window.
Available options are:- Default: The default range is -5 Gy to 5 Gy but does not represent the maximum possible values that
can be displayed for each patient. - Full range of the data: The full range is shown at the bottom of the Colorscale range window.
- Custom range (symmetrical): Enter the number to set a custom range.
Note: For Gamma Comparisons (see Section 5.2.2.6) the two dose difference colorscales are synchronized. Example: When the full range is selected for one dose difference map the colorscale for the other dose difference map changes to the full range.

| Action | Description |
View Plane | Shows which plane is currently being viewed (Axial, Coronal, and Sagittal). Click (1) to open the 3-Plane Viewer to see all three planes (see figure below). |
Scroll | Click on an image and using the wheel of the mouse or the left and right arrows of the computer keyboard to scroll in and out. |
Zoom | Right-click on a dose map and move the mouse left or right to zoom in or out. |
Rotate | Click on the image and move the mouse around to rotate the image. In the bottom right corner of each map, the current orientation of the patient. The figure (2) shows the patient is being viewed from the axial plane at the posterior. |
Fullscreen | Click on the fullscreen icon (4) to enlarge the selected window. |
Dose Slider | Use the Dose slider (5) on the Original dose map and/or Monte Carlo dose map to change the overall opacity of the DICOM RT dose that is displayed on the 3D CT image. |
- The 4th pane (6) of the 3-Plane Viewer will show different things based on which map is selected:
- If the Original dose map or Monte Carlo dose map is selected, the pane is blank.
- If the Difference dose map is selected, the pane shows the Colorscale range (6a).
- If the 3D Gamma comparison is selected, the pane will show the Gamma index (6b).
