Question
How can I verify the integrity of myQA 2025-001 upgrade installer with a SHA checksum?
Answer
For the myQA Upgrade zip files that are sent to eligible customers via download, we provide the SHA-256 checksum to verify the integrity of the upgrade package. If the checksum is calculated after the download and compared to the value we publish for this version here below, it is certain that the installer package is intact, complete and no manipulation happened to the files during upload, storing on a sharepoint folder or during the download.
There are different tools available for calculating checksums with Windows (e.g. 7zip), the results should be the same, no matter what tool is used.
How can I use the Windows build-in SHA-256 checksum calculator via command line prompt?
For myQA 2025-001 several upgrade installer files are provided. Once the corresponding zip-file is fully downloaded, the SHA-256 checksum can be calculated and compared to the following value:
- "myQA2025-001upgrade.zip" standard,
SHA-256: 9d160d6e8838551c8cac0818462f39fc2c637f44b3f1866d72d80c3eba640bc8
- "myQA2025-001upgradeFull.zip" for PT installations,
SHA-256: c118a95247e17604e38576f78e73d42e8f35b4990b8514c6a2826ef89dae7344 - "myQA2025-001full.zip",
SHA-256: 4c4e5084e4fda53e70270d01292d2fa765f306d106b490888ad09ddf58a9ffd9
If there is no match between these values and the checksums you are getting from the downloaded zip file, please contact the IBA Dosimetry Service team, to notify us about the mismatch and to receive a new upgrade file.
