myQA Daily - Quick Start Guide

This chapter provides short general workflows to get the SW started quickly.

Install the myQA Daily SW

  • Right-click myQA Daily.exe > Run as administrator.

  • Follow the installation instructions.
  • Start the myQA SW and go to myQA Platform > Options > myQA Daily > Activation.
  • Enter the myQA Daily address (http://localhost:58321/) into the Address bar and click Test connection.

  • Click Activate to save the device.

  • Confirm the myQA Daily software has been successfully installed by going to http://localhost:58321 in a supported web-browser.
    • Chrome 112+ for Windows
    • Firefox 112+
    • Microsoft Edge 113+
    • Android Browser: Chrome Mobile 119+
    • Mobile Safari 16+
  • Allow myQA through Windows Defender Firewall

  • For myQA/myQA Accept, check the Domain, Private, and Public boxes.

  • Click OK.

 

Configure the MyQA Daily IP Address

  • Connect the myQA Daily via ethernet cable to your computer
  • Turn on the device and press the Config button.
  • Type 169.254.22.11 into a web browser (2). The config page of the myQA Daily will open.
    • username: admin, password: Pa$$word1
    • For security reasons, it is strongly recommended to change the admin password immediately

  • Click the Navigation icon to expand the Navigation panel and access the device information (3).

  • Under Configure Ethernet [wired] choose DHCP or connect wirelessly.
  • Under Configure Wireless select the WLAN to be used and enter the authentication information in the
    Connect section and click the Connect button.
    • The WLAN IPv4 and WLAN IPv6 sections show the current WLAN IP settings and the connection status.
    • In Set configuration, select the DHCP (selected by default) or STATIC for the IP address configuration.
  • Save the settings.
     

Setup the Device

  • Power on the device
  • Place the myQA Daily on the treatment couch.

  • Align using the light field and lasers.
    If a Phantom or the Rotating Holder is being used, place the myQA Daily in that before alignment.

 

Setup the SW

Add Location

  • Navigate to Settings (1) > Locations (2) and click Add Location (2).

  • Enter the Location Name and Description.
  • Click Create Location.
    Machines can now be assigned to locations.

 

Setup page

On the Setup page, the user can add devices, machines, beams, and tasks.

 

Add Device (1)

  • Under Setup > Devices, click Add Device.
  • The myQA Daily device should be visible in the Online Devices area. Click to update the device details and enter a device name and description if desired.
  • The device should now be visible and online on the Devices page.

 

Add Machine (2)

  • Under Setup > Machines, click Add machine.
  • Enter a name and the appropriate source axis distance.
  • Optional: Select a Location for the machine. Please note, this can be updated or changed later.
  • Click Save.
  • The device should now be visible under Setup > Machines.

 

Add Beam (3)

  • Under Setup > Machines, ensure your newly added device is selected on the left and click Add beam.
  • Provide the requested details for the beam and click Save. Repeat as required for additional beams.
  • Warm up the myQA Daily by performing a 600 MU pre-irradiation. This can be done in conjunction with the warm-up of the machine.
  • Go to Machines and ensure the correct machine is selected, then select All beams.
  • Baseline the selected beam by expanding the reference measurement dropdown on the right and
    selecting Measure Reference Values. This measurement is beam triggered and can be repeated as
    many times as desired in order to use an average as the reference.
  • Click Save to record the reference measurement. Repeat this step until all beams have reference
    measurements.

 

Add Task (4)

  • Under Setup > Machines, ensure the newly added device is selected and click Add task.

  • Enter task name, device, days performed, checklist items, and select the beams to be measured by checking the associated boxes (4a).

  • The order of the beams to be irradiated can be adjusted by dragging the beams up or down by using the 3-bar icon (4b).
  • Click Save once all required details are provided

 

Perform a Measurement

  • Place the myQA Daily on the treatment couch, align, turn on, and perform a 600 MU warm up preirradiation.
  • Navigate to the Test Run page and select the desired machine or select All Machines.
  • Ensure the correct day of the week is selected or select All.
  • Locate the task you intend to perform and click the Start button () to enter the test run.

  • Confirm the myQA Daily device is online and connected as indicated by the network (1) and power status (2) shown above the button Start Measurement Sequence. Perform the checklist items.

  • Click the Start Measurement Sequence button. Prepare and irradiate the beams requested by the myQA Daily software.
  • Measurements are beam triggered, starting when a beam starts and automatically moving to the next
    beam or end of the sequence when the beam stops being delivered.
  • Irradiate all requested beams until the Measurement Sequence popup disappears and the Summary page is displayed.
  • Repeat with other beams as needed by selecting the name of the beam on the left and selecting Repeat.
  • Record notes as needed for the beams and the overall task.
    Complete the measurement by navigating to the Summary page and selecting Finish Task.

 

Review a Task

  • Tasks which require approval can be reviewed by navigating to Trends.
  • Select the correct machine and task from the dropdown menus on the left.
    Now the recently performed test runs can be found below the trending chart.
  • It is possible to review and approve the test run by clicking View on the Task Summary.
  • Record any notes as required and click Approve.
