Measurement devices can be added (registered to the SW), edited, or deleted on this page. For all registered devices, the device name, online status (green: online; red: offline), battery charge level, device serial number, Hostname / IP address, and port number are listed in the device table (1).
Adding a Device
To add a device in the SW, click + Add Device in the upper-left corner to open the Add Device dialog. With this dialog, the user can add (register) a device to the myQA Daily application.
- Connect the device to the network and turn on the power so that the device becomes online.
On the right-side of the dialog, all online devices are displayed under Online Devices. Click on the device description box to copy the parameters to the form on the right-side.
If the device is not online or the device is online but the network is configured such that the online devices are not displayed, enter the information in the text fields on the left side manually. The minimum requirement is the serial number and hostname/IP address of the device.
About the port number
If the device is online, the port number broadcasted by the (selected) device will be automatically taken. If the device is not online or cannot be detected automatically, and the information needs to be entered manually, please check what port number is used by the device and enter this number accordingly. By default, it is set to “1338” in the device.

- Click SAVE to confirm adding task or CANCEL to cancel the action.
Editing a Device
In the device table on the Setup – Device page, the Edit icon is located in the last column.
- Click the Edit Device icon to open the Edit Device dialog. This dialog is filled with the device information.
- Edit the information in the fields as needed.
- Click SAVE to confirm the editing or CANCEL to cancel the action.
Deleting a Device
In the device table on the Setup – Device page, the Delete icon is located in the last column.
- Click the Delete Device icon to open the Delete Device dialog.
Click the OK button to confirm the delete action or CANCEL to cancel the delete action.
Note: Devices cannot be deleted if any task is assigned to it.
