Setup - Machines - Welcome Page
If there are no machines defined, the Welcome page opens for adding a machine. Click the ADD MACHINE button to open the Add machine dialog (Section 7.1.3.1) and add the first machine. Once the first machine is added, it switches to the Machines – Overview page (Section 7.1.3) where additional machines can be added.

Existing machines are listed to the left of the screen on the Machine navigation panel. Machines are organized by location, with unassigned machines at the top of the list.
On this page, machines, tasks and beams can be added with the corresponding Add … commands. The existing tasks and beams can be edited and deleted with its own Edit and Delete
icons.
Machine navigation panel
A machine must be created in myQA Daily QA for each LINAC that will be tested with the myQA Daily. It is defined with a name and source axis distance (SAD). The list of added machines are displayed in the Machine Navigation panel.
- Above the list of machines, the user can:
- + Add machine (1) (Section 7.1.3.1)
Select a Location (2) to display
The All locations option shows all available machines.The [none] selection shows only machines with no assigned location, this option is not available is all machines have been assigned a location.
- Restore (3) a deleted machine (Section 7.1.3.3)
- Select a machine from the list (4) to:
- Display its beams and tasks in the main display
- Display its SAD
- Edit (5) (Section 7.1.3.1), Duplicate, and / or Delete (6) (Section 7.1.3.3) the machine
Main display
The beams and tasks for the machine selected in the Machine navigation panel are displayed on the main area of the page in blocks under Beams and Tasks, respectively. A beam stands for a specific energy of a LINAC, and a task defines beams that will be measured during executing the task.

Under Beams, all beams created for the selected machine are displayed in blocks containing
- Name of the task (1)
- Energy (2)
- Field size (3)
- Monitor Units (MU) to be delivered (4)
- Dosimetric tests that will be executed (5; including, by default, Profile Constancy, Dose Output Constancy, Energy Constancy)
- By clicking Beam Details the Setup – Machines – All beams page is displayed (Section 7.1.4), showing the beam properties and parameters tolerances (6). The reference measurement can be performed and any of the three default dosimetric tests can be enabled or disabled.

Tasks blocks
Under Tasks, all tasks created by the user are displayed in blocks containing:
- Name of the task (1)
- Number of beams to be tested (2)
- Name of the measurement device (3)
- Planned test days (4)
- Task Details (5): By clicking Task Details, the Setup – Machines – All tasks page (Section 7.1.5) is displayed with the task information (test dates, measurement device, assigned beams, and check list)
- The Edit task and Delete task icons of the task (6)
Adding a Machine
By clicking the + Add machine command in the Machine navigation panel of the Setup – Machines – Overview page, the Add machine dialog opens.

- In the Name box: enter the name of the LINAC.
- In the Source Axis Distance box: enter the SAD of the machine in mm.
- (Optional) In the Location dropdown: assign a location to the machine.
- Click SAVE to confirm adding the machine or CANCEL to cancel the action.
Editing a Machine
By clicking the Edit machine icon
in the Machine navigation panel of the Setup - Machines - Overview page, the Edit machine dialog opens.

- In the Name box: edit the name of the LINAC if desired.
- In the Source Axis Distance box: edit the SAD of the machine.
- (Optional) In the Location dropdown: change the location of the machine.
- Click SAVE to confirm the editing the machine or CANCEL to cancel the action.
Duplicate, Delete, and Restore a Machine
- Click the settings icon
on the right side of the machine name in the navigation to open the Delete /
Duplicate machine menu.

- Click Duplicate machine to open the Duplicate machine dialog.
- Click OK to confirm the duplication.
A copy of this machine is created including the beams and task definitions. No measurements are duplicated. Example below shows that “LINAC_2” was duplicated.

Delete Machine
- Click Delete machine to open the Delete machine dialog.
- Click OK to confirm the delete action or CANCEL to cancel the delete action.
Restore Machine
- Click the settings icon at the top of the machine list to open the Restore machine dialog.
- Select which machine you wish to restore (if multiple machines have been deleted).
- Click RESTORE to confirm the restore action or CANCEL to cancel the delete action.
- If the machine was assigned a location, it will be restore to that location.
