On the All beams page, all defined beams of the selected machine are listed. A beam is defined by the energy type, the energy, FFF, the field size and monitor units. For each beam, a reference measurement must be carried out here.

All Beams main display
Displays the individual beam details for all beams. In each beam section:
- Name of the beam (1)
- Beam properties: beam type, energy, field size, and MU to be delivered (2)
- Reference measurement block (3)
- Beam description if available (4)
- Assigned tasks (5)
- Assignment of the three dosimetric tests (6). A test can be expanded to view and activate / de-activate the test, and edit (see Section 7.1.4.1) the tolerances of the test parameters.

In this page, the user can do the following:
- Edit a beam in the Edit beam dialog (Section 7.1.4.5) by clicking its Edit beam command. For a beam that has already been measured, only the beam name and the beam description can be modified.
- Delete a beam in the Delete beam dialog (see Section 7.1.4.6) by clicking its Delete beam command. Measurements of deleted beams will no longer be visible.
- Run the reference measurement by expanding the device in the Reference Measurement block (Section 7.1.4.2).
The three dosimetric tests can be edited activated / de-activated by expanding the test and then clicking the Edit button (continued in Section 7.1.4.1).

Editing Dosimetric Tests
- Activate / de-activate the test by selecting / de-selecting the active box.
Edit a tolerance by entering a new number in the corresponding box.

- If changes have been made, click the SAVE CHANGES button to conform or CANCEL button to cancel the changes.
Reference Measurement Block
When opening the Reference Measurement block, the application is automatically connecting to the
device and waiting for the measurement data.
It is possible to combine multiple measurements to an average results of the reference measurement.
In the result table the mean and deviation of the reference values will be displayed. Combining multiple
reference measurements is only possible as long as the dialog is opened. As soon as the reference
measurement is saved by clicking OK, it cannot be modified.
Reference measurements cannot be deleted. However, it will be replaced with a new reference
measurement.
In a Reference Measurement block,
- All registered devices are displayed.
- Devices that are not assigned to tasks are marked with a grey warning icon (1).
- Devices that are assigned to tasks but have no reference measurement are displayed with an orange
warning icon (2). Besides, the orange warning sign also appears in the Beam Navigation. - Devices that are assigned to tasks with valid reference measurements are marked with a green
checkmark (3) and the time (4) and operator (5) of the measurement are also displayed.
The measured reference parameters can be viewed or downloaded (in the .json format) by clicking the
View (6) or Download icon (7).Note: *.json files are readable in Notepad++ but not Notepad.
- State shows whether the device is online (solid green dot) / offline (empty red circle) (8)
Battery shows charged capacity in percentage (9).

Procedure of reference measurement:
- In the Reference Measurement block, click the device to expand it.
- If the device is online and the battery is charged, both State and Battery are in green color. The
device is ready for measurement. - If State shows that the device is offline, check whether the device is connected and powered. Ensure
the device is online

- If reference values do not exist, click the MEASURE REFERENCE VALUES box to open the Reference
Measurement dialog for performing a measurement (Section 7.1.4.3). If reference values exist, the date when the reference was acquired and the operator are displayed. User
has the following options:- View the existing reference values by clicking the View icon.

The parameters are displayed on the left and the measured reference data graphical view on the right, including a 2D chart and 1D inline/crossline profiles. By placing the cursor on a data point, a tooltip will appear displaying the values of counts and dose in cGy of this data point.
- Download the reference values by clicking the download icon.
Note that the parameters, Factor and Reference dose, are only available in View and Download if the
Reference dose is available (see Section 7.1.4.3).- Click the REMEASURE REFERENCE VALUES box to open the Reference Measurement dialog to reperform measurement (Section 7.1.4.3).
Reference Measurement Dialog
The Reference Measurement dialog is opened by clicking the MEASURE REFERENCE VALUES button or REMEASURE REFERENCE VALUES button in the Reference Measurement block.

The reference Measurement dialog displays the information of the measurement device (1) and the beam
(2), reference dose (if entered) (3), measurement instructions (4) are on the left side and the Device /
Measurement Status box (5) and reference value (6, if exists) is the right side.
Turn on the beam. When a beam is detected, the measurement starts automatically.
When the beam is off, the measurement stops. The measured parameters are displayed.
The Measurement Status box informs whether the measurement is completed and the measurement for the next beam can be started. The measurement can be repeated a few times as desired. The parameters are the average of all measurements.
- If measurement should be repeated, turn on the beam, measurement starts until the beam is off.
Repeat this measurement until the desired number of measurements is reached. - Click SAVE. The measured reference values are saved or click CANCEL to discard the measurements.
Absolute dose calibration (optional)
To calibrate for absolute dose, enter the absolute dose for a specific setup of the machine as the reference dose in the Reference dose box in the Add beam dialog (see the Section 7.1.4.4). To do so, the entered reference dose and the factor of dose per count, calculated as,
will be displayed in the reference measurement results in the reference Measurement dialog.
Parameters from a reference measurement
When the reference dose is updated, the most recent value is used and displayed in the reference measurements.
Adding a Beam
Open the Add beam dialog by clicking the + Add beam button on the Setup - Machines - Overview or Setup - Machines - All beams page.
Add beam dialog. Information for boxes with “*” is mandatory.
- In the Name* box: enter the name of the beam
- In the Radiation Type* box: select Photon or Electron in the dropdown menu.
- In the Energy* box: enter the value of the energy and checkmark the FFF box if it is a FFF beam.
- In the Field Size* box: select 100 x 100 mm or 200 x 200 mm in the dropdown menu.
- In the Monitor Units* box: enter the number of MU for the test.
- (Optional) in the Reference dose box: enter the absolute dose for a specific setup of the machine.
- (Optional) in the Description box: enter any comment for the beam.
- Click SAVE to confirm adding the beam or click CANCEL to cancel the action.
Editing a Beam
- Open the Edit beam dialog by clicking the Edit beam icon
of the beam to be edited in
- the Machine Navigation panel or the Beams block on the Setup - Machines - Overview page,
- or, the main display of the Setup - All beams page.
- Edit the values or text in any text boxes if necessary (see description of the boxes in the previous section).
- Click SAVE to confirm editing the beam or click CANCEL to cancel the action Information for boxes with “*” is mandatory.
Delete Beam Dialog
- Open the Delete beam dialog by clicking the Delete beam icon
of the beam to be deleted on
- the Machine Navigation panel or the Beams block on the Setup - Machines - Overview page,
- or, the main display of the Setup - All beams page.
Click the OK button to confirm the delete action or click CANCEL to cancel the delete action.
Note: Beams cannot be deleted if they are assigned to a task
