How Do I Perform A Uniformity Calibration w/ LDA 99SC?

Step 1

Place the LDA-99 SC in the --/++diagonal position and move it as low as possible (e.g., 30 cm) to have a larger field size.

Step 2

Open the field size as far as possible (normally 40 cm × 40 cm).

Step 3

In Queue Setup > Queue Settings, set the Detector Orientation to the --/++ diagonal position and the Device turn angle to 270˚.

Step 4

Click the Measurement button in the Tasks panel

Step 5

In Controller panel, click Connect, and then perform Gantry coord., Limits, Background, Auto gain, Normalization.

Step 6

In Electrometer panel, select the Calibration tab and then enter the values in the Dose rate and Sampling time boxes.

Step 7

enter the energy used for calibration in the text field.

Step 8

Turn on the beam and then click the Calibrate button.

Step 9

Switch off the beam and click OK in the Background measurement popup message to start the background measurement.
