How do I set up Devices in myQA platform?

Define location and machines
Step 1
Select Equipment Setup in the myQA Platform workspace.
Step 2
Click New Clinic in the ribbon.
Step 3
Enter the clinic name / other information and then click Save.
Step 4
In a similar way, define a department and a room.
Step 5
In the location tree view, select a room (or clinic / department).
Step 6
Select New Machine in the ribbon to open the Machine Setup dialog.
Step 7
Enter/select parameters in the order of Category, Type, Vendor, Model and Name of the machine. Check whether the pre-defined values fit to your machine. Edit them if necessary.

Finally click Save.
Step 9
Select the machine in the location tree view.
Step 10
In the main display area, click the Edit button to define the corresponding parameters in the Beams qualities, Wedges, and Applicators groups.
Define a detector and its calibration
PRECONDITION: The MatriXX/StarTrack/Dolphin is online (power on and network connected).
Step 1
In the location tree view, click to highlight a room (or a clinic, or department).
Step 2
Click New Detector in the ribbon.
Step 3
Select the detector in the Online Devices list and press Copy device properties.
Step 4
Enter the name of the device. Then click Save
Define the Detector Calibration
Step 1
Select the detector in the location tree view.
Step 2
Click the Edit button in the Calibration group and then Connect in the opened dialog.
Step 3
Click Connect.
Step 4
Click New Output Calibration to open the Output Calibration dialog. Compensate for Background signal (if necessary).
Output calibration (repeat for each energy):

Click the Machine dropdown box and then select a machine.
Step 6
Click the Beam Configuration dropdown box and then select an energy.
Step 7
Reference Value: enter the dose or dose rate in the Reference Value
Temperature and pressure calibration (optional):
Step 8
Click the temperature/pressure Calibrate… The values measured by the StarTrack/MatriXX/Dolphin are displayed.
Step 9
Input the reference values measured by reliable external devices in the Actual box, and then click Ok.
Step 10
Set up the linac (energy, MU, etc.) in the same way as the obtaining reference value.
Step 11
Press Measure in the Output configuration dialog and then turn on the beam.
Step 12
Press Stop when the irradiation finishes.

Saving/applying an output calibration

In the Storage field, enter the calibration name, monitor units, comments (optional), and then click Finish.
