What detector holders are available for BP2/myQA BluePhantom3?
Answer
The different detector holders available with the Blue Phantom2 system are designed to provide an optimal support for detectors offered by IBA Dosimetry.
- Universal Detector Holders:
- For applications with a Farmer type chamber (FC65-G, FC65-P, FC23-C), the displayed detector holder for stem diameters 10 – 15mm is available to be used with the Blue Phantom2.
- For applications with Thimble, Pin-point chambers and Diode detectors Universal detector holder for stem diameter 4-10mm is available.
- A special detector holder, designed to be used with PPC40, PPC05 and NACP chambers is available to be used with the Blue Phantom2. This holder does have two platforms with different diameter and countersinks and two cones (black & white). The black cone is equal with the surface of the mounted PPC detector, whereby the white cone is used for the NACP chamber; both are made to support the water surface setup.
