Question
How to connect hardware (e.g. MatriXX Resolution, MatriXX Evolution, Startrack) through different subnetworks/subnets in myQA?
Answer
Please follow the below steps to connect hardware through different subnetworks/subnets in myQA:
Prerequisites
- myQA version 2017-002 or newer is installed
- In the workspace myQA Platform > Equipment Setup at least one clinic and one machine must exist
Step 1
Set IP address and network mask for the hardware, please find detailed steps here: How do I configure MatriXX for different subnetworks?
Step 2
Close myQA.
Step 3
Open C:\Program Files (x86)\IBA Dosimetry\myQA\IBADos.CSP.Run.Shell.exe.config with a text editor.
Find the key MultiNetworkMode:
<add key="MultiNetworkMode" value="0" />
and change it to:
<add key="MultiNetworkMode" value="1" />
Then, save the file.
Step 4
Run myQA and select the clinic/department/room where you want to add the hardware to.
Step 5
Click New Detector button.
The hardware will not appear online, thus please input detector properties manually and then click Save button to apply changes.
Now you can go to myQA Patient/Machines/FastTrack to test the connection (even when the online status is still gray and not green).
