How to import measurement results from an Excel spreadsheet to myQA Machines?
Answer
In order to import the measurement results from the Excel spreadsheet, we need to create an Excel template first.
Create Template
Step 1
Go to myQA Machines - Test Run, right-click on the item name that you’d like to include in your template and click Copy.
Step 2
Go to Excel, right-click on the column where your source data will be, click Define Name
Step 3
In the New Name window, press Ctrl + V in Name to paste what you've copied in myQA Machines.
Step 4
Repeat the above procedures for every item you want. Please also apply the same procedure for Reference Date. You can find the Reference Date here:
Step 5
Save this Excel sheet as a template (*.xltx). Now you have the template!
Import the data
Step 1
Open the template excel and save it as *.xlsx.
Step 2
Make measurements and input the result you measured into the correct column.
Step 3
Save the sheet again.
Step 4
Go to myQA Machines - Test Run click the import button on the desired test.
Step 5
Choose the *.xlsx file where you saved measurement data. Import completes.
