What to do when calculating the lateral correction for film when you receive the error "the least squares solution could not be found due to round off error"?

If you receive the following error when trying to calculate your lateral correction on your "background film". Follow these steps.

Step 1

Crop your background film in the width until the width is less than about 950 pixels. Pixel information is located on the top right panel called info panel.

Step 2

Recalculate correction matrix.
