Question
What are the new features of myQA Accept 9.0 (9.0.9.0)?
Answer
The following new functionalities have been added to myQA Accept with the 9.0 release next to several improvements and a performance increase (see also the version README file including all the solved issues).
Please note that from this release on, myQA Accept can be installed and run independently from the myQA software. A database configuration wizard is available to help separate the Accept database from a former myQA database or create a new database from scratch. (For details, please refer to the User Manual.)
3D DICOM Dose Import
It is now possible to import 3D Dose distributions in DICOM format from TPS into myQA Accept to extract selected XY profiles or the central PDD. These data can be used to validate pre-commissioned machines, as Varian Halcyon or Elekta Harmony, or to QA existing beam models (TPS QA).
1D Water Phantom Support
myQA Accept now supports the 1D Water phantom to perform your TG-51 or TRS-398 with a simple setup by using your existing CCU.
Measure with a CCU in a different network subnet
Connection to a CCU measurement control unit can be configured and performed also if the CCU is not available in the same network subnet.
CITRIX Single User Support
myQA Accept is now officially supported to be run on a CITRIX system in single user mode.
PT Measurement Support
Perform measurements with PT machines is now supported. Therefore, the following function blocks have been added:
- Creation and configuration of PT machines in Common Settings
- Configuration of pulse handling and normalization
- Numerical analysis of PT measurements (SOBP and Bragg peak)
- Reporting for PT measurements
