How to migrate detectors in "Common-Settings" from Accept 7.X Software to a newer Version?

Question

For myQA Accept Software Versions, later than 7.X there are three additional parameters used for Detectors, describing the "Recommended Field Size", "Input Mode" and the "Identifier".

How do I migrate already existing Detectors from older myQA Accept versions?

Answer

The Migration of detectors can be performed directly after the software upgrade clicking the "Migrate Button", next to the "Installed Detectors" list: 

Step 1 

Start myQA Accept Software and open the "Equipment Setup - Detectors" Tab of "Common Settings"

Step 2

Activate the Migrate-Wizard by clicking the "Migrate-Button"

Step3

Select the appropriate detectors in the drop down menu and make sure, the correct detector model is selected and confirm with "OK".

Step4

Done ! In myQA Accept 9.0 now the correct default input mode will be automatically selected for your chambers. Furthermore the optimal scan-parameters for your chambers will be chosen by scanning with the SMARTSCAN Guided-Scanning Wizard.
