Question
How to use the myQA Accept measurement queues for beam data collection for myQA iON RT?
Answer
IBA Dosimetry provides different myQA Accept measurement queues to collect the beam data for myQA iON RT.
We do not guarantee correctness or completeness. Please change the queues according to your needs and use them on your own responsibility.

Queue settings
Please adjust the Queue settings according to your setup and your measurement standards:
Please check and adjust especially the following settings, if necessary:
- Field detector
- Reference detector
- Positioning speed
- Continuous settings (e.g. Scan speed, Output step width, etc.)
- Step by Step settings (e.g. Step distance, Scan pos. speed, etc.)
Downloads
We provide the following measurement queues (opaq file format):
Energy | Larger Fields | Small Fields | |
1 | Photons 06 MV | Download | Download |
2 | Photons 06 MV FFF | Download | Download |
3 | Photons 10 MV | Download | Download |
4 | Photons 10 MV FFF | Download | Download |
5 | Photons 15 MV | Download | Download |
6 | Photons 18 MV | Download | Download |
Please open the opaq files as usual in the Queue Setup.
Additional information about the queues
The measurement queues for the larger fields include:
Field size [mm²] |
Inline Profile | Crossline Profile | Diagonals | DDC | OF* | SSD = 900 mm |
SSD = 1000 mm^ |
50 x 50 | X | X | X | X | X | ||
70 x 70 | X | X | X | ||||
100 x 100 | X | X | X | X | X | X | |
150 x 150 | X | X | X | X | X | ||
200 x 200 | X | X | X | X | X | ||
300 x 300 | X | X | X | X | X | ||
400 x 400 | X | X | X | X | X | X |
The measurement queues for the small fields include:
Field size [mm²] |
Inline Profile | Crossline Profile | Diagonals | DDC | OF* | SSD = 900 mm |
SSD = 1000 mm^ |
20 x 20 | X | X | X | X | X | ||
30 x 30 | X | X | X | X | X | ||
40 x 40 | X | X | X | X | X | ||
50 x 50 | X | X | X | X | X |
* For each Output Factor (OF) there are three absolute measurements to increase accuracy. You can of course remove these measurements from the queue and do your own measurements with your reference class electrometer, such as DOSE-X.
^ These queue items are only added for positioning the chamber. We recommend to use a reference class electrometer to perform the measurements for absolute dose calibration, such as DOSE-X.
Using SMARTSCAN
Using the SMARTSCAN functionality in myQA Accept is the perfect addition to measure base data in a smart, organized and effective way. Basically, the same workflow applies as for other measurement queues.
1. Preparing the SMARTSCAN measurements
Please change the settings and choose your detectors according to your needs and use them on your own responsibility.
2. Grouping the measurements
With SMARTSCAN it is possible to measure PDDs, profiles and diagonals. The Output Factors (OFs) have to be measured separately in this case.
3. Performing Baseline Measurements
Baseline Measurements include Background, Dose rate and CAX check. Preliminary scans are optional.
4. Perform base data measurements
5. Analyze the quality of your measurements
You can analyze the quality of your measurements directly during measuring and/or at the end.
