Question
How to migrate data from myQA Database to new myQA Accept Database?
Answer
For the myQA Accept versions earlier than 9.0, if you choose to use a database, the myQA Accept data is stored in the myQA database. Starting from version 9.0, myQA Accept requires its own independent database. In this workflow, a new myQA Accept database will be created and the existing myQA Accept data in the myQA database will be migrated to this database.
- Click the Connect to an existing myQA database button on the wizard Start page. By default, it is automatically connected previously connected to thw myQA database, and the connection information is displayed (1).
- For migrating a non-default database: Click the Import ICSI button (2), and then select the connection file (*.ICSI) of this database.
- For migrating a database without the *.ICSI file: Click the Configure manually button (3), enter or select the required parameters in the opened dialog, and then click Confirm.
- Click Next, the information of the existing and the to-be-created database for the migrated data is displayed.
- By default, the new database server instance is the same as the existing database. If the database information including the database name should be changed, click the Configure manually button, edit the required parameters in the opened dialog, and then click Confirm.
- Click Create database and migrate.
- The database connection file (*.ICSI) is saved in the default location: \ProgramData\IBA Dosimetry\myQA Accept. If you want to save it also in another location for archive, click Save database connection info to save it in the desired location.
- Click Close.
